Chapter 376: Treating Landon Ford to Crawfish
Chapter 376: Treating Landon Ford to Crawfish
Thea Shaw finished fortune telling for Regina Shelby.
Marcus Lynch and Delia Darden even sent messages asking if it was done.
Of course, they didn’t ask what Thea Shaw told Regina Shelby, as it was someone else’s privacy.
Thea Shaw replied that it was finished.
It wasn’t a difficult task in the first place.
Holding a freshly earned one million, Thea Shaw was quite happy inside.
In the spirit of sharing, Thea, who was usually quite stingy, decided to be generous and called Landon Ford: "Landon, do you have time when you return? I want to treat you to a meal."
"Is the sun rising from the west?" came the deep voice with a teasing tone: "You’re actually treating me to a meal? Do I have the honor of eating something you’ve personally cooked?"
Thea Shaw replied, "Of course not, but I can afford to take you out. What do you feel like eating? Western, Chinese, Japanese, or something else..."
"Anything works for me." Landon Ford was always indulgent with Thea Shaw: "Just choose according to your taste."
So Thea Shaw made the decision herself.
Whatever she chose, Landon Ford would have to eat it, even if he didn’t like it.
The fact that Thea Shaw offered to treat him made Landon Ford quite happy.
He finished all his work ahead of schedule and flew back home the next day.
The wedding had caused some delays, and he still had plenty of matters to handle after returning.
But originally, he was supposed to return two days later, as there were several meetings at the company.
However, with him returning suddenly earlier, many executives weren’t fully prepared, fearing they might get heavily criticized during the meetings. They were relieved upon receiving a message from Phillip Lane.
There would be no meetings today, and Landon Ford wasn’t even coming to the office, so everyone had time to prepare.
All the executives were overjoyed, but also curious. Each time Landon returned, he usually went straight to the company, yet today, he was taking a break.
Could it be that the young master finally realized the perks of his status and was ready to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle?
The first step being to skip work.
However, some speculated it might have to do with his girlfriend, which wasn’t a secret anymore; ever since the last post on social media, everyone knew that Landon Ford had a girlfriend.
Only a few executives had met her, while most people had just heard she was astonishingly beautiful.
What was so astonishing about her, they always seemed to miss finding out.

Landon Ford and Thea Shaw agreed on a time, and naturally, he arrived at the place Thea Shaw had chosen.
But when Landon Ford got to the location Thea Shaw mentioned, his expression changed subtly.
The place was big, well-decorated, and had a pleasant environment.
There weren’t many customers, likely because the prices deterred some from stepping in.
But, it was a specialty crayfish restaurant.
Thea Shaw specifically reserved a private room to treat Landon Ford, as she was indeed being rather generous this time!
She had put a lot of thought into finding this place; a cheaper one would be embarrassing to bring him to, and pricier ones wouldn’t suit her taste. Luckily, during this hot summer, she found this crayfish place.
The restaurant was decades old and famous, with steep prices, but true to its reputation for quality and flavor.
"Landon, you’re here! Come, sit, sit, sit!"
Landon Ford, dressed in a black shirt, was led in by the waiter.
Thea Shaw had arrived early and couldn’t resist the spicy aroma filling the restaurant. Now seeing Landon Ford arrive, she told the waiter to start serving the crayfish.
"Landon, I’m not sure what flavor you like, so I ordered one of each of their signature dishes."
Landon Ford’s tone was as casual as ever, but this time there was a rare hint of hesitation: "Anything’s fine."
Truth is, he didn’t like eating this kind of thing.
To be exact, he disliked foods that required him to use his hands to peel them.
He felt such foods were quite greasy, and even with plastic gloves, he couldn’t stand getting his fingers all oily and dirty.
